Dark Souls III Game Ships in Japan on March 24
From Software announced on Saturday that its Dark Souls III game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will ship in Japan on March 24. The game will retail for 7,430 yen (about US$61) for the package edition, and 6,930 yen (US$57) for the download edition. The package edition will have a limited amount of copies that will come with a specially made map and an original soundtrackCD.
Pre-orders for the game start on October 7. From Software will additionally host a network test for the PlayStation 4 version of the game on October 16-18, and the company is taking applications to be a network tester starting on Saturday. The application period ends on October 4.
From Software will reveal the PC release date and the overseas release dates in the future.
